We live in the Salt Lake City area and have 2 children attending Utah State University. We love to stop and eat at Formosa, our favorite restaurant in Logan. The lunch specials are very affordable (especially when you need to feed a big group). The specials include 3 items, well porpotioned.
We benchmark Chinese food in Salt Lake based on Formosa and so far, have found only one other restaurant we like as much, but at twice the price (Asian Star in Sandy).
Formosa is not elaborately decorated, but the food is what makes it great. Enjoy!

A great place to go with friends. Tasty food and good prices make this a restaurant to go for college students on a budget. Large portions make for a great second meal in a doggy bag.
Great Chinese
A few items that are the best I have ever had. And everything else is quite good. Their tiny spicy chicken is as good as it gets. I try to eat here almost every time I'm in town. [18 Jul 2002 03:30:46]

THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST FOOD. I USED TO LIVE AN HOUR AWAY, AND I WOULD DRIVE HERE FOR THEIR FOOD!!!!

Much of what you order at Formosa will be altered to an American palette. BUT, if you've been to Asia and know what it is to have authentic Chinese cuisine, you can be more selective in choosing from the menu and find all of those wonderful delights that you experienced in Asia. The beauty of their menu is that there is something for everyone. Service is good, not spectacular, but leaves very little to be desired. Prices are about average for the Cache Valley.
